Objective to investigate the suitable spinal endoscopic operation of the self-made L type reverse curettes, surgical treatment of vertebral calcified lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, and the feasibility of L type reverse curettes, security analysis. Methods from September 2001 to June 2005 the application of posterior spinal endoscopy surgery in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation in 718 cases, of which 57 cases confirmed by CT of calcified lumbar disc herniation using self-made L type reverse curette treatment. Results 57 cases were followed up for a period of 3 to 36 months, with an average follow-up of 21 months. The curative effect was evaluated according to the Nakai criteria, the excellent and good rate was 88%, no case was transferred to open surgery, no serious complications such as nerve root and spinal dura mater were found. Conclusion microendoscopic configuration of L treatment of vertebral posterior reverse curettes calcified lumbar disc herniation, is safe and feasible, and obtained the good curative effect.
