[Abstract] Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Methods: 20 cases of patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma confirmed by surgery, and has 1 or more times of 131I treatment, 18F-FDG PET/CT after the inspection and comparison of whole-body 131I scanning results after treatment, the comparison in the initial and repeated 131I treatment after examination found lesions, and compared the consistency of two kinds of check the. Results: in 20 cases, PET/CT found that the number of lesions and 131I scan found no significant difference in the number of lesions; the two examination results were significantly related to the two; but further analysis showed that after the treatment in 131I scan showed the number of lesions less than PET / CT, second, and 3 times after treatment 131I scan showed the number of lesions more than PET / CT, many patients after treatment, 131I scan showed the number of lesions and less than PET / CT. Conclusion: 18F-FDG and 131I after treatment in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer in the diagnosis of metastatic lesions have high value, the clinical application of the two can complement each other in the.

[Abstract] Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of PET/CT in differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC). Methods with differentiate thyroid carcinoma 20 cases underwent both PET/CT and 131I whole body imaging with treatment dose. Compared the value in finding metastatic lesions after first time or several times treatment with 131I and investigated the accordance of the two methods. Results All 20 cases were divided into 3 groups. First group is treated once, second group is treated twice or third and third group is treated several times by 131I. In three groups, PET/CT finding metastatic lesions in the first and third group is more than that in the twice group. But that is no significance difference (p=0.3471) When underwent an acc. Ordance test, the two methods has a significance accordance (p=0.032) Conclusion and 131I whole. PET/CT body imaging with treatment dose all has important values in differentiate thyroid carcinoma. They can fill up each other in clinical experience.
